I’ve been seeing this for quite some time. Intermittent. Sorry for not posting sooner.

it may be connected to a new counter we have installed for monitoring site traffic…the forum software is the only 3rd party software on the site and that is where the issue may lie…lets see what others say..

Can’t say I’ve ever had this problem. Not just at home but I’ve never seen it on the college or university comps either. Could it possibly be related to the browser that you’re using?

I’m using IE6 and get the same messages Omen got

I’ve been seeing this code (and other variations) since Feb, I think… a while anyway

only happens in forums, but different artefacts are eveident in different sections (‘user options’, ‘members’, etc.)

      Hello everyone,

it may be connected to a new counter we have installed for monitoring site traffic…the forum software is the only 3rd party software on the site and that is where the issue may lie…lets see what others say..[/quote:040875bb01]

The counter software is redundant as we’ve switched to a third party service since. However, the lines of code referring to the counter software (installed just after Christmas, I think) were still present in the forums pages.

I have just removed those lines of code so keep me posted as to whether the problem recurs.

      John.

Very cool indeed. Would have had me up all night thinking why it’s happening to people.

      Very funny :)

It may not be fixed yet… just wait and see. If anyone finds the problem recurs please let me know.

      John.
