Ridiculous Press Releases

I thought press releases were supposed to be about news. Like important announcements or something.

So, what is the point of this:

I might as well release my own press release saying:

Hello, I pretty much rock the world. I am the best human being ever conceived, including Jesus. Look at my amazing features:

1. Arms
2. Legs
3. Opposable thumbs
4. Binocular vision
5. The ability to communicate with other(albeit lesser) humans through an innovative feature called, “Speech”

I read that press release by Nintendo and I just can’t see the point in it….maybe when they announce a new console this kind of release makes some sense…….but after it has been released and people know about it? Gah…..

It did make me chuckle though….
