Hopefully this will be of interest to people on here. Science Hack Day is a free, community run, hack-a-ton event. Last year’s overall winner was an augmented reality treasure hunt game and we would love to seen more game related hacks this year
Brief overview:
Science Hack Day is a creative hack-a-ton aimed at bringing together engineers, developers, designers and artists to work collaboratively for 36hrs. At its heart it is a social event celebrating the technology skills we have locally. Projects last year ranged from software to hardware to crafts. You supply your creative/engineering skills and we supply the like the minded people, free pizza and enough caffeine to bring down an elephant.Hope to see some of you on the day.
