hi im in TY. are there any subjects you specifically need to do in leaving cert to get into games design? also, what is the average salary? are there many jobs available in ireland or would you have to look for one in england or the u.s.? :roll: sum1 please reply!

You should do some research on your own (use the search function on the forum to help you…)
You don’t need any specific subjects in your leaving cert to get into games design. Some post leaving cert courses may have certain requirements, but I’d say they are more points orientated…one of the guys will fill you in with info on those…
Salaries? Lets just say you wont get rich in games ^_^

It’s highly unlikely (but not impossible) you will get a game design job straight out of college and you will most likely have to travel to the UK or US to find work
