Looks good, I like the cartoon style. Though you have to wonder how the hardcore TFCers will take it…

Exactly the same way that the hardcore CS’ers took the release of Counter Strike: Source…with complete and utter horror/disdain/avoidance.
The Fortress Forever mod is looking far closer to the original and will probably appeal to the old guard more.
That said the new TF does look great. :)

FF looks good. Most of the TFC clones I’ve played haven’t been the best hopefully maybe FF can break the trend.

If they get the physics and gameplay right people will love TF2.
TFC always seemed to be more popular outside the US…its also where you’d find the best clans. The post HL 1016 patch upset the hardcore and mainstream Euro players when they fucked with the physics and weapons. Valve needs to listen to what its players tell them and not release such disasterous updates.
