‘Tekken’ Movie Adaptation In Early Development

I would love to see a CG movie adaption of Tekken. I just don’t feel that having it played real actors would really do it justice. I know very little about the movie but I’m interested to see what direction it takes; locations, characters and whatnot.
What are your guys thoughts on it? Another Mortal Kombat or perhaps something special?

Tekken plays such a big part in my gamer memories…you know…those epic battles with your mates…where eventually someone was crowned king.
For me Tekken always had the best FMV’s (or cut-scenes as they’re known now) of any game at the time on the PS1. Tekken was part of that revolution that we all experienced (probably beginning with a joint & Wipeout for many on these boards) on the brand new Sony machine.
The characters that Namco developed through that series are second to none…& if they can recreate a tenth of that energy on celluloid then we’ve got a potential winner at the box-office.
But hey, like you said…. who knows? …. well PS1 Tekken buffs do & In Ireland there’s more than one of those, just ask Niall O’Hanrahan.
