      There are a few other counties missing as well! Derry, Antrim, LondonDerry etc.

      excuse me but my address at the University of Ulster, Coleraine was Londonderry so please lets not bring that up.

      The Louth one is a bit controversial in itself… though the Cooley thing is true…

      Just for the record, nordies are allowed to say either Derry and LondonDerry, and commonly include both of them to indicate the silliness of the situation around the names :) Other terms include Maiden City, L apostrophe Derry and a few others that can’t be mentioned here lol

      i think the bbc policy on the Derry thing is, the first time you say it, it has to be Londonderry, but after than you can call it derry as many times as you want.

      I also remember noticing during the elections, the Euro MP I think, on the vote ballot, the was 3 guys from there. Beside the Unionist it said Londonderry, beside the Nationalist is was called Derry, and the independent (some farmer guy) was L’Derry… I thought that was funny
