The last paragraphs are the most interesting. Didn’t realise the industry was going after Canada via the WTO.
I did read (possibly on these forums) that the Canadians do not refer to their incentives as tax cuts, but simply "cash-back."

I doubt they’ll have much success, but some needs to be done to help the UK industry. There is a big brain drain going on
