I’m modelling a character for my assignment and I’m now in the phase of unwrapping. He’s wearing an armor which is embedded in the character and I’d like, before exporting the map, to colour the poligons of the armor, so that when I’m going to paint I know exactly where it is. Maybe I’m using the wrong words, but I can’t find anything on Google…
Sounds like you don’t actually need help unwrapping… are you using Max? Just use a multi-sub object material, and give your different polygons different material ID’s. You should be able to find a tut by googling a bit.
