The Mana Bar in Brisbane will be Australia’s first video game themed bar when it opens in March 2010. Patrons will be able to enjoy a pint… sorry.. ‘scooner’ while playing the latest games. I’ll definitely have to check it out. Might finally have a chance to play Mass Effect 2. Of course Aussies don’t need another excuse to fight. I can see a PS3 getting thrown through the window then someone gets their ass kicked at Pro Evo.

read on kotaku a while back about a restaurant in japan, maybe osaka,which had an rpg theme. Lts of zelda esque swords shields and things scattered about.
South korea would be another place to check out, they’re about 15 years ahead of the rest of the world, imo…

I hear that the Mana Bar is now open. Kinda shocked to hear that it’s in the Valley. If it were Dublin, that’s not too unlike putting it on Sheriff St.
I’ll check it out at the weekend and post up a review…
