Hi, I am looking to find either a 2D character artist or a 3D character modeller for a team sports game for release on Xbox Indie Game.
I have searched for uni/tech courses that may have students that would be interested in this project, but I don’t even know where to begin to look. Anyone I have found have been graphic designers that focus their work around logos/banners/etc rather than sprite animation that I would require.
For a 2D artist, they will need to create spritesheets for players of the game. There will be numerous animations, which can be detailed to anyone interested. All other background and menu images, would also be required.
For a 3D artist, I would require a single model to be built for the character. The model will need to be boned and a UV texture map created. But any animation can be handled in house. Other 3D elements may need to be created too.
