      Finally finally finally.

      http://kotaku.com/5021025/stix-+-a-wiimote-for-your-pc

I’m just as happy to get glovepie and WiimoteCPP loaded but it really is way more difficult than it needs to be.

And if your deploying a Windows demo to someone to test or review, glovepie and the BlueSoleil pairing is just way more difficult than it needs to be.

I had hoped Nintendo would just share the wealth and release a simple installer and native Windows driver, but I guess I was kidding myself.

Anyway, Stix looks like it may solve the "pain-point"

      more details here:

Or maybe Nintendo will get the message, and release their own libs, drivers, installers, etc.

      B!

      Hi David,

Thanks for the links, I’ve looked at WiimoteLib before, and Wiim, so I’ll check out WiiYourself!

I was reading up on Bluetooth 2.1 and apparently the pairing should be way more simpler.

      Hopefully, that will improve things.

Also saw some articles on Kotaku that Microsoft were considering some kind of wireless, gesture-recognition input device, that would probably be the easiest to port over to Windows.

      Brendan.

"Nintendo just announced the Wii MotionPlus, a small peripheral that plugs on to the bottom of the Wiimote to give greatly improved motion sensing"

      Smart move.
