Microsoft have fianly anounced it. I am glad the new HDD comes with a data transfer cable as i will get the new HDD. The elite will also ship with both the standard cables that come with the Premium system and core and a HDMI cable which sony realy realy should have shiped with the PS3.

The rumour is that in a few months, the Elite will replace the premium and the premium will replace the standard and the standard will fade away. I’m looking at waiting a few months and picking up an Elite at the current Premium price :)

So this is the Elite Xbox system? So therefore, in my opinion, should be the best Xbox you can get.
However, you will need to still buy the HD-DVD to make it better. Makes no sense to me at all. -
HD-DVD would have made it cost a lot more though. As far as game storage formats go we dont realy need anything more than DVD9 for this genaration. As for the movie side of thing’s I have allways been a bit critcal of watching movies on games consoles as i have heard it has browken quite consoles a few I think that might be how my PS2 broke.

Hmm. This is kind of annoying for me. But im not sure why.
I only bought a 360 in February. And I ike the colour, I think so anyway. I still wouldnt justify buying it because I dont have a HDTV, and after buying a 20G model, I realised that the 14 or so gigabytes left over is more than enough for marketplace demos etc.
Black is still nice though
