always happy to have more people involved and there are certainly some experienced teams already around, or you could recruit your own people if you put the money in place. There are various approaches.

there always seems to be a need for artists at game jams and we know there is one coming up at the Games Fleadh in thurles in March.
before that there will probably be some face to face informal meets, including the KU launch this evening so you might come along to talk informally to people in the business.
I guess you need to decide if this is a commercial or non commercial project and if the former you need to think out a business plan and try to put a team together. EI have some good supports for start ups and for getting together a business plan. Some folks on here would have more info on that.

so you will have seen I hope that Clane college look like they are offering a games course in Galway….watch out for Richards posts. Starting end of Feb. 2013.

but there was a games ireland meeting as well in Dec. which is what I am referring to here.

ok we have someone for the January meeting but we will need people for future meetings and I think it would be good to rotate between indies.
Or we can go alphabetical…since BitSmith and Batcat have been involved in the first two. :D We will be looking for someone else for the Feb and March meetings – dates to be confirmed.
I am going to keep posting here so people know who has been and one of the key issues on the agenda at the moment is developing an incubation space in Dublin and arranging another Games Gig in 2013. If there are issues you want brought up at meetings you can post here or PM me.
