Irish Game Dev Xmas Party

Ho ho ho! It’s too early to be talking Christmas, I feel, but not too early to save the date for the Irish Game Dev Xmas party!

Much more info will be coming soon, but for now I just want to let people know that:
1) A Christmas Party IS happening this year.
2) It’s on Dec 12th in The Grand Social.
3) It’s taking the place of The Games Co-Op for December.
4) It will (most likely) be free in.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR HELP FROM:
1) Anyone who wants to handle the task of decoration.
2) Sponsors! We do have to hire the venue, seeing as it’s December.
3) A DJ or two!

PS Sorry to other non-Dublin-based devs for the presumption that “Irish” == “Dublin”. I feel ya. You’re of course more than welcome to attend anyway! We’d love to get you into town if you can make it.

PPS Bear with me as the event details unfold. It’s somewhat “last minute/month”. I MAY need to ticket the event with free EventBrite registrations if we look like hitting the room’s capacity. Watch this space.
