This course will happen on the 17th of August 2019 at the Q House Building in Sandyford from 10am-4pm.
TIME TO POWER UP – Skill Boost is delighted to announce its Intermediate Unity Course! This class will provide new developers with introductions to scene management, UI, GameManagers and more!
Learn to expand your grasp of Unity (the game engine for Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Untitled Goose Game, Risk of Rain 2 and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator!) to create an exciting game!
If you took our introductory course, then you’re on firm ground for Unity development – now we’ll take you to the next level!
With clear examples and instruction from multiple instructors, we’ll banish confusion and help you avoid the common potholes in the road to game dev success!

This course will cover:
* Gameover and Gameloop
* Performance Tips and Profiling
* Main and Pause Menus
* Scene Management
* Enemy AI (A* pathfinding algorithm)
* Industry Tips and Tricks!

By the end of the day, participants will be familiar with the essential ingredients for creating a well rounded action game with enemy navigation and lots of excitement!
All course materials (including powerpoint, course project and assets) along with follow-up training materials will be made available to attendees on the day.
