Global Game Jam 2019 at PorterShed, Galway

Global Game Jam is a 48 Hour game making event that takes place in annually in January with locations around the world participating together. It is open to people of all levels of game making experience.

This year it is scheduled from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th of January 2019.

For Global Game Jam 2018, their 10th anniversary jam, they had 42,800 jammers who made 8,606 games at 803 sites in 108 countries.

All games made at Global Game Jam have to make their source files publically available. You can read more about the Global Game Jam on their FAQ.

All jammers at the Galway jam-site must agree to Mind Cauldron’s event Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy in order to participate. In breif, organisers have final say in any matter related to the event or any dispute that may arise at the event. If you are asked to leave you must do so immediately. Be excellent to each other!
