    Hey folks, not sure if this is of interest to anyone here but I plan on using the service as a backend for scoreboards etc for games. Can’t beat free. Limited signup.

    "Google has added the Java runtime to its App Engine, that (semi-)free service that lets you build and host web apps on Google’s very own distributed infrastructure.
    At the moment, there’s only room for 10,000 eager Java heads on the new service."

    Glad you pointed this out. Been messing with google apps but the app engine stuff was new to me. Looks like a solid place to get involved with the cloud computing movement.
