      Hiya folks,

Here’s a link to the updated version of 3D Stress Ball. There have been quite a few changes over the last 2 weeks, I’m planning on getting it completed by the end of July.

      Hi Mal,
Well done on the game, you’ve got something there! You mention at the end of each sample level pack ‘in the full game’ what’s the story there? how do you plan to distribute this? Are you thinking a port for a console?

Whatever happens, if you have not already done so, you should get a publisher on board ASAP!

      Well done again very impressive!

      Hi Ian,

Cheers for the feedback! BTW There’s a newer version just uploaded today ( with a gamedevelopers.ie ad, and a few other cool changes! )

      > You mention at the end of each sample level pack ‘in the full game’ what’s the story there? how do you plan to distribute this? Are you thinking a port for a console?

We’re planning on distributing a 100 level Mac and PC version online, using the web version as a sampler. Hopefully we’ll get our foot in the door with Shockwave.com / RealArcade.com etc. with this game, which would give us quite a large audience of potential customers.

I’m not sure if any publishers would be interested in a game like 3D Stress Ball, but if any approach canDo, we’d definitely be interested in chatting with them. This is one of the tough things about being located in Ireland, it’s expensive to go to London to meet up ( formally or informally ) with a number of publishers.

      Regards…
      Mal

OK, there’s another update up there ( I’ve managed to sneak in a few more hours of development ), the non-training levels now have to be completed within the time limit, as well as various other nips and tucks.
