      Just to let everyone know that Hugh Hancock, founder of Strange Company and the editor of machinima.com will be giving a talk this Wednesday, 21st of April in Trinity College for TCD Netsoc.
      The talk is entitled “Machinima: Shooting Film in Virtual Reality” and will be about the emerging phenomena of creating movies using computer game technologies. You can read up more (and download examples) of machinima at machinima.com.
      The talk is on from 7 p.m. in Joly Lecture Theater, Hamilton Building in Trinity. Here’s the map to get to the building. The talk is free for Netsoc’s members and the membership will be available at the door for 3/1 euro. Event page is here.

      Yeah, I only just got into that myself, but mainly because I completed Halo over the weekend, my having not done so before being the main reason I hadn’t checked it out.
