Just back from seeing this feckin’ great film!
The story is really great and the film has a much more mature feel to it. This will appeal far more to teens/adults than to young children, thats not to say young kids won’t enjoy it though.Once again Pixar have brought animation to a whole new level, from a technical point of view the hair is fantastic, as is the lighting and range and depth of emotions displayed in the main characters. There are many moments where you think, “Wow! That looks amazing!” But thats to be expected from each and every Pixar release.
The film really centers on the theme of family and what the most important things in life are, ie: friendship, love, family…….and it does it exceptionally well. The acting is really great and Holly Hunter is fantastic as the wife and mother reaching the end of her tether with a disillusioned husband. Samuel L is great, although he doesn’t appear as often in the movie as I expected, but thats not a gripe as this film really centers on Elasti-Girl, Mr Incredible and their kids(The little boy, Dash, is one of the funniest characters in the movie).
The movie has a very retro feel, with classic retro dramatic music, locales and villans, and is left wide open for a sequel. All in all, great story, great characters and great animation. Another top-notch movie from Pixar, can they do wrong?
Next up is Cars I think…….can’t wait!
PS: The short movie before the main feature is their best yet!

I was under the impression that The incredibles looked a bit simplistic, but now after your parsie I will go see it. Tell me, is it better than Ice Age?, man I love that film. Ray Romano is the funniest guy in ages,

Jason Lee is the bad guy in the incredibles isn’t he? I think he’s brilliant when used correctly, the only people who seem to be able to use him though are Cameron Crowe and Kevin Smith.
Saw the trailer for that cars, looks excellent.

The incredibles beats in every way Ice Age.
I personally thought Ice Age had only one good asset: the squirrel!
The defining moment that assured me that movie was so entertaining was at the end, when I realised I hadn’t craved a cig during the entire showing…
Go and see it.

It may be simplistic looking Omega, but thats its style and having seen I can’t imagine it any other way! Whats really amazing is that even though the characters are simplistic in style, they still manage to get real emotions out of them……..
The bad guy is awesome, really fanatastic character!
