      Good news if you’re a proprietor of innovation, open source etc.

      Bad news if you’re M$, IBM etc.

      Erm… No, sorry – it might be good news for Eurolinux and people of that ilk, but it’s still good news if you are IBM, MS, etc.

      Bad news if you are a European Softco trying to gain patent protection in your own jurisdiction.

      Bad news also for European economies that were planning on attracting foreign ICT investment – that $ will all be going back to the US, from where we might have poached it.
