B.Sc. in Computing with Games Technology, IT Tralee
This course is primarily intended to be a Computing Degree, with an emphasis on Game Development, we see it as an exciting way to learn how to program and will give the student the option of computing careers not necessarily within the games industry.
Topics relating to the games industry covered include:
– Graphics,
– Interactive Storytelling,
– Game Design,
– Game Development,
– Middleware,
– Games Production (management perspective),and of course the projects will be to produce working games.
It still needs to be rubber stamped by the Dept. of Education, but this is usually a formality. It will be running in Sept. 05, but as we have only got the go ahead now, it will of course, not have been on the CAO forms, this is not a problem for people who may wish do enroll next September for two reasons
1. You can transfer from the B.Sc. in Computing with
Multimedia/Internet Development.2. And/Or you could change your application, information at
