Aphra.[/quote:bfb366db07]sheesh! let me draw breath!!
(I’d barely finished the post and I had a PM. I barely get finished replying to that and decide to edit the post to make it clearer and I’m hassled (hassled, I say!) by my own moderator-to-be!
Is there no justice…) -

Good opportunity to get a look at some cutting edge graphics stuff(for free). Very prestigious conference indeed. Good to see the irish games industry flying the flag, they’re gonna get some good exposer.

Folks,
thanks to everyone who applied. The process is now complete, and we had 8 applications. I’m on the process of notifying the lucky folks – two passes were given to the IGDA members and the remaining two distributed on a first come, first served basis
We probably missed an oportunity to give them away as a prize in some sort of quiz/compo… (doh!), but not to worry… I’m sure the winners are pleased

Argh it’s on at the same time as the GPGPU session! I’ve had a read of the GPGPU STAR and it’s going to be good stuff… I think I’ll have to go to the IGDA session though. Given the people involved, I’m hoping there’ll be a discussion of the Irish industry at the panel – would I be right?
Looking forward to seeing you all there, it’s shaping up to be a great conference.

I’m not sure how much of a direct discussion on the Irish industry there will be, but given who is talking at it and the wide spread of local industry covered I’m sure you’ll get a good flavour at least
