Just thinking that as some people will be in Dublin for Eurographics in Trinity and there is an IGDA games event on Wednesday the 31st should we think of getting people together that evening for a shindig? Not everyone might be able to make the conference and while some are away at GDCE it is still another opportunity to get people together.
Eurographics has presentations and awards ceremony until 8pm that evening followed by a pub quiz. I for one would skip the pub quiz!

I know its advance, but someone mentioned september somewhere else. Feel like taking a couple of days of next month but will need to do it soon as there’s a deadline next month and there might be a hissy-fit if I leave it late. Anyone thought of September shindig dates. Mid-september would suit me best probably…

no dates suggested yet but since you have got the ball rolling mid september means 16/17th I guess. Suits me as I will be back in Dublin by that stage!

I fly back on Saturday 17th, so Thursday 15th or Friday 16th would be my choice…

A confirmed plan is needed.
As suggested, lets go to Mahaffeys on the 31st August and having a few drinks. I will definately go. Anyone else who wishes to go, either say so here, or just pop along on the evening.

if I remember the programme there is an awards event until 8pm so some of us might go to that and then to the shindig…
