DS tops 5 million

yeah the ds is doing very well in Japan, destorying the psp. i think its out selling the psp in the west too, but not by the same 2.5 to 1 ratio in the east. Still funny, a year or so ago nearly everyone bar the nintendo hardcore, thought that the psp beat the ds’s ass! :lol:

The PSP, which has been out for a shorter period of time, has sold 10 million units worldwide. So has the Nintendo DS. 50% of DS sales are in Japan, and it’s selling better than the PSP in that country. Thus, a majority of the PSP sales are outside of Japan. So that would suggest the PSP is performing better in the western market than the DS.
