John,
do you guys have any design treatments or docs to post/circulate for feedback yet? Are there any areas you are looking for help on?
Maybe you’ve been talking to some of ther mentors offline, but as I haven’t seen much activity I was just wondering if you guys were taking full advanatge of the help on offer
I’ll send you onthe pitch/presentation guidelines I was talking to you about after the weekend
Cheers,
Tony -

I’m afraid I’ve been away for the weekend, I had to fly to london at the last minute for an interview with Brunel university. But I did take the opportunity to run around all the museums again and get more research/reference pictures.
I am however concerened about my own ability to get these production meetings to achieve anything. I’ve just about got everything prioritised but can’t get everyone in the same place at the same time, or even all online at the same time(which I don’t think works) to sort out the many and major hole in the feature lists.
We’re trying to sort out time in the hub for tomorrow to get this done, if there’s anyone with expereince on the production/planning end of the spectrum who could facilitate the meeting to get us on the right track.
College never put us in a position where anyone was really in charge or as repsonsible for the overall success of a particular area as we individually find ourselves now and I’m more than a little concerned at this stage
On a positive note Yuan Yao is joining our team as an international scholar and is exactly what we asked for, a dedicated programmer with AI experience

You need to keep the project motoring no matter what, and if team members aren’t around, make an assumption/decision and document it, and keep going. When the team members do provide their input, you’ll just have to re-examine decisions made since your first sweep
Just fill the features/functionality in as they emerge, making sure to prioritise them appropriately. As there will be a knock on effect (i.e. a new block of work needs to be acocmodated inthe WBS and schedule), lower the priority of every feature/functionality below the new additions.
This is why I was suggesting to you to have two levels of priorities. First level categorises 25% of your features as ‘1’, 25% as ‘2’, 25% as ‘3’ and 25% as ‘4’. This makes things nice and objective. Then, within each of the four categories, list every item from 1 to n in their order of importance. Adding in an extra feature if one later emerges, has a cascading effect on the schedule
