Just like to point out the time sis set to GMT on the feed not IST/BST. So everything looks an hour behind.

The issue is actually that the time on the posts on the forums, which is the same as the rss feeds, is set to GMT while the times on the homepage is IST/BST

Yea, this is a bit of a strange on, you can change the timezone in your profile, but they all seem to be based of GMT + an offset, it doesnt seem to account for summer or winter at all.

If anyone has any ideas, throw them my way, and I could have a look at them for you

Maybe using Ajax on the front page to give live updates of the forums… gimmicky but its fairly simple to implement and can come in handy. A live search feature would be nice too… :D

I’ll definitely have a look at the search feature, I’m not sure about live forum updates. While indeed it shouldnt be too hard, especially cos I can use the rss feed to pull down the data, the functionality is already being provided by the feed.
If other people have an opinion on this, I’d like to know -

Ok, the search box on the front page now works for forum searches, I will have a look into searching the articles soon
