Is anyone putting together a team for Dare or is anyone interested in being part of one? Not a lot of people seem interested in actually taking part…

Hi people, BCFE is entering at least 3 teams this year as far as i know (probably more). I’m already on a team but we are looking for a programmer at the moment. We have 3 designers and an animator who is interested in joining so far. A brief description of our skills would be:
Strong asset creation team and design skills with a good knowledge of the technical restrictions and conditions for implementing assets into an engine. We have 2 3d modelers and a traditional/texture artist. We are not programmers but we are not code illiterate either and we are very comfortable with communicating detailed idea’s to programmers. If anyone is interested send me a message :) -

Woah Supermario took this one way off topic!
Yeah we are still looking for a programmer, but i don’t see much chance of us getting one now that Supermario made us look like a bunch of raving loonies. If i didn’t know the guy I’d think he didn’t like me. I suggest everyone just ignore him, it works for us out in here BCFE.
To get back on topic and away from the total slagging I just got:
If your a programmer and would like to join a team going to DARE send me a message

Sanity is a purely subjective thing, what seems nuts to one person is normal to another. :)

Manbags at dawn?
All silliness aside,
I’m enthused by what I saw at the presentation… It all seems more… achievable now. I’d be interested in joining a team, but I’m also scared… very scared
I have a bit of 3D modelling (low poly for games), a bit of C++, and a small (read unmentionable) bit of Python scripting under my belt. That said, I haven’t made up my mind whether I want to do this.

Don’t be scared, think of it as a challenge :)
