Calling all pixel artists out there! :D
I noticed in the skills section that there are many artists listed (mostly those with 3D experience) but that next to no one has links to their portfolios!
Upstart Games would be very interested in hearing from any of you out there with pixel art experience who would be available to work on a contract basis. If interested then please feel free to mail your CVs to talent@upstartgames.com with the subject line "Pixel Artist application"
If anyone has any questions please let me know – I would be happy to answer them in this thread.

Hi, I used to do pixel art back in the old days on the eight bit Atari 800’s and the sixteen bit Commodore Amiga. Sadly since I didn’t transfer the files over to the PC, the only ones I have left are these printouts from a not very good Amiga printer, well, this was some years ago mind…..

To be honest, I’ve always been been into pixel art for a while but don’t feel my work is good enough.
David’s idea of a contest is good though, might be the sort of thing to get me out of my shell and have something to work towards.
