Apologies if this is a dumb question. I haven’t been keeping up-to-date with Irish game development as much as I’d like, I’m sorry to say.

Did I read that Travellers Tales now have an office in Ireland? Where is it, what do they do there, and how many staff do they have?

      Thanks,

      Lewis

Thats clearly a mistake, think they fucked up that article. Traveller tavels never have\had a studio in ireland, perhaps giant interactive had customer service or something stuff in ireland.[/quote:690dfe6198]

There are articles all over the internet saying the same thing albeit they all seem to stem from the same article in the Manchester Evening News.

A quick google also brings up a press release from May of this year detailing the formation of TT Centroid Limited to acquire a motion capture group with employees in England and Serbia.

      It also states:

The TT Games Group is based in Knutsford and was established in 1989 by Jon Burton. The Group employs 150 people at offices in the UK, Ireland and Serbia.[/quote:690dfe6198]

They also acquired embryonic studios at the start of the year

I’d be surprised if they made such a mistake in a press release, they seem to have a few more assets than anyone has suggested in this thread, certainly more than:

as far as i know they only have one place left; knutsford.[/quote:690dfe6198]

well i dunno what to say to ya paddy, i asked a few of my mates up at TT in knutsford and they’ve never heard of a connection they have in ireland.

if they are here they’re not under that name and they dont do development. As for that manchester evening article its got alot of hearsay in it, most notably the price. it went for alot more :)
