Ya satchmo. Although spoke to him week before last and he said he was okay as he was graphics programmer on Prototype and that game is safe. Hope thats true this week. I’ve got a few other mates there who havent been so lucky.

Activision are really swinging the axe bigstyle these days. They culled a bunch of staff at high moon studios also which was always regarded as a good studio. Both studios have made some great games.

Luckily, there is alot of studios hiring in Vancouver at moment, so hopefully they will find work. What makes its slightly worse is that radical had a huge ramp up last year bringing people in on work permits. Now these guys have to apply for new ones (3 months typical wait) so as to work for a new company out there.
