"The latest issue of PSM3, the UK’s first dedicated PlayStation 3 magazine, has an exclusive review of Bethesda’s FallOut 3. The usual suspects has already posted scans of the article on the Internet, revealing that the editors of PSM3 admitted that "the PS3 version compares poorly to its Xbox [360] and PC counterparts."
Today, the PSM3 staff tried to rectify this statement by saying that "the PS3 version looks the same as on Xbox, but things in the distance are slightly jaggier/rougher, the textures seem ‘muddier’ up-close and the frame rate is choppier, especially during the last few story missions."
Too little, too late. The damage has been done."

3 words….Well, 3 words and a number
METAL GEAR SOLID 4
and yes I’ve heard that Konami are looking into a 360 port, just wondering how they’re gonna fit 50gb onto DVDs…
PS3 FTW!!

I was getting the 360 version anyway. But they said the PC version looks the best. Big parts of Oblivion where put onto the disk twice to improve loading times.

Sony talks about how the PS3 can have 50GB of data on a Blu-ray (installs and slow loading say hi) and some games need that space, but then they also want to offer games up for download such as Burnout which is the first one so far. But if your games need 50GB of data how could they ever support a download service when the average PS3 only has 53GB’s of fee space? -

Offer it on 3/4 DVDs and compress the ridiculous amount of video?Correct me if I’m wrong though but isn’t there a 8min install for MGS4? Well assuming it doesn’t take you more than 2mins to switch discs then I don’t think it’ll be too much of an inconvenience for a possible 360 version.

Rightfully so too, Fallout 1 & 2 & Tactics were all PC only games, think I would cry if it ended up as buggy as Morrowind after all these years waiting for another Fallout game on the PC.

riding completely on past glories…[/quote:220dcc9791]Completely agreed. I was very dissapointed with 4. I can’t believe how bad this game was. The story was unbelievably conveluted. The cut scenes were way longer but had less information/action in them than in other MGS games. The writing was so lazy, they just explained every corner they walked themselves into in MGS2 by saying ‘oh it was nanomachines all along’. There were countless lame bits (marriages? In MGS? Why the f***). The first act was great, and going back to Shadow Moses was great (until those shit black balls turned up). Good to see Big Boss though. But the bad outweigh the good. The only person having fun anymore is Kojima, he’s completely lost it.
And I was gonna buy Fallout on PC anyway…fourth piece of bad PS3 news in the space of a few days. Fallout and Tomb Raider Underworld getting exclusive DLC, LBP getting recalled, and now this! Still don’t regret my decision though, I think the PS3 is better (although the XBOX is having a better autumn/winter than I expected)
