Suggesting a few locations:
The Duke. Cause I’ve never been there.
or
Askel McThurkels. Cause it’s big.

Hi Aphra,
Any more details on Ernest Adams’ visit?
In terms of date/time/venue?
Won’t make it to the Nov shindig, but if Decembers is a late one, or January’s is an early one, I’m hoping to finally put a face to all the names/posters.
B.

hi all,
Ernest Adams will be in town and wants to join us for a drink. he will be staying on Camden Street so lets make it central.
The Duke is a pretty nice pub…not sure how packed it gets on Friday nights…but probably ok from 7.30/8pm once the post-work rush dies down a bit. what do people think?
Aphra.
Ps Ernest is in town to do workshops for secondary school students in DIT. See http://www.gamedevelopers.ie/news/viewnews.php?article=401

I would say anytime after 7.30 pm….to avoid the straight after work rush….if people do not know anyone PM me and I will give you my number in case you can’t find us.
Aphra.

Actually had a mini shindig in Vancouver last night by chance in the Yaletown Brewery. Nice Irish turnout indeed.
Attended by Demonware ( Brendan Dillion, Tony Kelly (Idora), Michael Collins).
Action Pants Inc ( Conor Lenihan and myself ).
Radical Entertainment ( Keith O’ Connor (satchmo) and Andrew the Canadian). -

yes thanks to everyone for turning up.
To Ernest Adams who is obviously more recognisable than than the rest of us, to lots of old faces and to new ones too.
And was that talk about a new company which will be announcing its presence in the next few weeks…? We are all sworn to secrecy..but best of luck with the start up phase guys and we look forward to getting the press release!
