Hi,
Another question, this time about podcasts: Do you listen to them? Game related ones more so? If so, what ones??
I’ve find the developer ones to be far more interesting than just general game news ones but here are the ones that I listen to:
Dev:
Insomniac Games – Full Moon Show iTunes RSS
Top Secret – Bionic Commando (has an Irish guy … not sure from where) iTunes RSS
Crash TV – Criterion Games iTunesIndustry/News:
Citizen Game (Irish run) iTunes RSS
Giant Bombcast iTunes RSS
One Life Left 7/10 iTunes RSS
Rock, Paper, Shotgun iTunes RSS
1UP Show iTunes
1UP Yours iTunes -

Good post, Krudd. I’ll check out a few of those podcasts.
I don’t listen to any game-related podcasts, myself. Not yet anyway. I got an iPod recently so maybe it’s time that I put a few on it.

You should check out the Bungie podcasts http://www.bungie.net/Inside/content.aspx?link=bungiepodcasttime
Some of them are really interesting because they interview members of the development team – off the top of my head there was the AI progammer, some guys from the QA team and the audio guys.

Find the Gamespot UK podcast (http://www.gamespot.com/misc/podcast/gsukpodcast.xml) one to be quite good for general news
Used to listen to the Football Manager podcast(http://downloads.sigames.com/download/podcast.xml) one but gone off that one now a bit :)
Have only started listening to Citizen Game podcast recently and really like it, far less geeky or fanboyish(if thats a word) than others.
I listen to a lot of podcasts, don’t really listen to music that much any more.
Other podcasts(non-gaming but tech) I listen to are:
This Week in Tech
Security Now
Macbreak weekly
All available, and a lot more, at http://www.twit.tv -

It’s a private shame of mine that I listen to the Jeff and Casey podcast, http://mollyrocket.com/376. It’s by two people from the games middleware industry (Radtools, Granny) but it rarely touches on games directly; instead it’s a bunch of amusing, insulting, weird, messed-up inane guff and bs – a window into the mind of the american 30’something geek. Essential listening.

That one sounds kind of life One Life Left to me … which is fun so I may have to give it a go!
