Hi folks,
If you get a chance, could you test out this fairly small Shockwave 3D game. It’s based on the area where Titanic was fitted out.
It’s aimed pretty much at younger school kids, and the aim is to get them more familiar with the Titanic’s Dock area, as well as the Pump House that operated the dock ( this’ll be covered a bit more in the 2nd "Coming Soon" button – hold down SHIFT to try it out ).

Cheers…

Hey mal,
Thats a cool little game you’ve made there. I was disappointed that it wasnt longer :P
I found one small bug though, if you move out of the dock (towards the north of the map) the cursor on the map leaves the mini-map and obstructs the view of your health bar.
Other than that though its a nice game.
How long did it take you to complete?

Hey Mal, Very nice, love art style.
Only comment is perhaps cursor hand should be hidden when steering tug as could not move camera or find anything to click on. When right clicking I get a transparent arrow? ( for another player to suggest direction to keyboard player?) -

Thanks for the feedback folks – I forgot to mention that Claire Fitch made the music, and the ship sound effects.

The cartooney aspect was a client request – it definitely came through pretty well. Our original prototype was here ( was going to be more realistic )…

Regarding the transparent arrow, I’ll get that removed also ( is debug code :)Mal

The cartoony graphics definitely make it better imo. Really suits especially if its aimed at younger kids.

Yeah well done Mal – played it right through to the Titanic and then crashed it – any chance of one more go at the end? :) Very nice art style in general as others have said and it suits the game very well too. The camera could help make navigation easier if it always leads in the active direction – forward AND reverse – that why I crashed… honestly :)
Anyway – very well done!
Cheers,

Thx for the feedback all – we’ve tweaked the game a bit, based on feedback etc. Also, the "Operate Dock" option is now available right at the start.
