      Hey guys,

      I’ve just completed a a degree in the Uk in game sdesign and I’m back home now rairing to go and get my foot in the door of any company. Only problem I’v found is I’m having a hard time finding anything over here.
      any one have any ideas of how to get a more comprehensive list of jobs apart from this site. I will take anything, I;m mainly focused on 3d, so anyanimation company or someplace will do me till a games job comes up.
      I know vivendi and acclaim are here. I know they are somethere but I cant find anything about them on the net.

      Oh yeah and I’m living in Dublin and want to stay here. After being away fot two years I’m not in the mood of moving to cork or somewhere like that.

      Any help will be deadly guys, cheers

      Vivendi? Nope, they are not in Ireland (they closed a wee while ago, it was localisation testing and engineering only)

      Acclaim? Nope, they are not in Ireland. They shut down a few years ago (they were never here afaik)

      Your options are very limited in Ireland. Have a look at the company directory:

      Think he means Activision, not Acclaim. Yep they are here but just QA.

      yeah it was Activision I was thinking of not Acclaim. My head gets a bit confused sometimes.

      Do you even know where Activision is? Anything is better than nothing.

      Might try brown bag or Cartoon Saloon (tho I think the later are 2D only) for animation, there is supposed to be another 3D place in Galway long as I remember? Though think the only one that is in Dublin is Brown Bag.

      I think Cartoon Saloon is in Kilkenny. You should check http://www.creativeireland.com for a full list of animation studios/production houses if you’re serious about doing 3D work that isn’t games related.
