      Hi all,

Just saw this on Silicon Republic. Looks like the Autodesk re-seller in Dublin, Paradigm Tech, are offering 3D Modelling, CAD, and related training at discounted prices (50%) to out of work builders, and architects hit by the economic down-turn.

      Sounds like a good idea.

Also, the article talks about further funding available from the Dept. of Social Welfare, under "Technical Assistance and Training Grant" scheme.

Haven’t heard too much about this Tech Asst. Grant, but again, if its tech-related funding/scholarships that can only be a good thing.

Who knows, it could lead to an army of level designers and modelers emerging from the economic downturn!

I guess it depends what the cost is. 50% could still be prohibitive to a lot of people.

Why are there never any links in SiliconRepublic’s stories
