Whats the purpose of announcing it so early, are the games made on our own time or at the event over a number of hours? Is it limited to students?

Both are based on StarterKits ( TBA ). XNA Challenge is students only, DirectX Challenge will, hopefully, be open to indie. All done pre-event.

Yeah Windows Phone 7 compatibility looks goods. Early warning is a good thing but can’t take part (No DirectX 11 machine) but Looking forward to hearing the theme. I’m sure it will be a good one SocksUp.
