I need Work Experience !!!!!

Hi all My name is Richard Im Currently Attending CCT For my bachelors in computer science Im still in my first year and dont want to sit around for the summer . As everyone know its hard to get experience if you have none I would really love to gain some real world experience Please can anyone help me or point me in the right direction im attending all meeting from forums and trying to network as much as possible. Im looking for any kind of work experience to do with computers where it be programming graphic design anything . Any help would be greatly appriciated.
