      Hi

      We are holding a half day event in Bray Institute of Further Education on Saturday April 20th 2013 (approx. 11AM – 2PM). This is in Bray, Co. Wicklow.

      The event is targeted at school leavers and individuals aiming to find an education or career in games related fields.

      Topics under discussion will be:
      Games industry in Ireland
      Career paths
      Setting up a studio
      Pipeline involved in developing a game
      Business practice
      Game Design
      Developing using industry standard tools
      Unity for indies
      Developing for multiple platforms

      This is a free event and all are welcome.

      There will be limited places so please email: gameseminarbife@gmail.com using "SUBJECT: Attend" if you want to hold a place.

      (Please arrive in good time to settle into your seat)

      Speakers: Alan O’Dea, Dan Kenny, BIFE games teachers.
      Topics: Games Industry in Ireland, Career Paths, Setting up a Studio, Pipelines, Game Design, Unity for Indies, Games Courses in BIFE,… and more

      There will be an opportunity to sample some of the excellent games designed and developed by the BIFE students. Hopefully, this sampling will extend over the two course years to highlight the standards here at BIFE.
