I’m not sure if they are using the pointer, I’ve heard a rumor that they have done something crazy like attaching the wiimote to the players foot and use the inbuilt accelerometer as the main control function. :lol:
It is interesting that the organisers of DARE haven’t gotten around to accounting for the wiimotes laser pointer yet though, a few of the teams that were in protoplay with us suffered really badly from it. Just don’t put the crazy spotlights in one corner of the room!
I think another team from Ballyfermot got beaten out of the place at DARE by the football game. They had this really cool prototype of a free running race game where you fired disk platforms to constrct your own path across the game environment. It’s a real shame there aren’t more spots open to the Republic.
