just back from externing in DKIT and one of the final projects caught my eye – an alternate reality gaming’ project called aftermath.
The project ran for five weeks and the students managed to attract players from many different countries to multiple web sites to solve a mystery type game. They promoted it on http://www.unfiction.com/ as well as putting up posters and using mobile phone messages in interesting ways
They will tell you more themselves – hopefully they will come on here to do so soon – and unfortunately the game is over now but you can check out what they did at http://postaftermath.com/. If you are in Dundalk drop down to the Carrolls building in DKIT to see the sites on display and talk to the team.
