      Hi all,

just finishing up an animation course at the moment and was wondering, in general, is there much game 3d animation done in Ireland?

I’ve had a look through some of the various companies listed on this site but it seems many are more on the developing end…

Short, and most realistic answer, absolutely not. Not for 3D games.

England is your best bet. Got a link to a reel?

Hmmm, a shame but I thought that was the case!!

I’ll whack my reel up here when AM is over anyway.

      Cheers!

Hey , are you the same PMC from the creativeireland forums? There seems to be a fair bit of 3D animation work about at the moment but not much for games, you have to keep your ear REALLY close to the ground to get that stuff. Pimp yoself about as much as you can (on the skills section here and make sure you have a nice vimeo reel).
