While those look good I’d definitely do the Stanford lectures before going near them. They’re free can be done on a commute and are given by Apple devs.

71Squared is also a good resource for iPhone dev, Mike Daley is writing a book on iPhone dev and has made a series of video tutorials detailing an engine or framework he has writen. The engine isn’t anything fantastic but the tutorials are decent.
