Blender OpenSource Movie Finished – Big Buck Bunny

Hi folks,

Blender has been used to create another open source movie ( well, a 10 minute movie :) )

As you can see, Blender ( as an open source applicaiton ) is definitely showing that it’s capable of holding its own against the main commercial apps.

The final movie has been finished and shown, but it won’t be released for a few weeks yet ( it was partially funded by people pre-purchasing DVDs, so these will be sent out first before being released to the wilds of the internet ).

Some of you may have seen Elephants Dream, the first open-source movie – this new movie is more of a fun comedy styled animation.
