Computer whizz-kid Finn Krewer from Gort Community School has designed his own version of SPACE INVADERS for the XNA Ireland Challenge on the 13th March. Pictured in todays Irish Independent, compact edition, this really bright kid also created a ‘Element Interaction Virtual Science Lab’ for the BT Young Scientist competition. With kids like this, coming up through the ranks, maybe theres hope for a Games Industry in Ireland.

Great stuff. The more chances these kids get the better. Do not be surprised when there’s a story soon of a 14 year old making more money than the rest of us on something like XNA.
