      Get out and meet people from other industries during Design Week 2009
      which runs from November 2nd to 8th and celetrates Irish and international design.

      There are tons of events all over the country but including Understanding Digital and Refresh focussed on digital media.

      Another event of interest is the Interaction Design event in the Sugar Club in Dublin on Tues Nov 3rd. Ignite format with 5 minute talks. see http://defuse.ixd.ie
