Please find attached a link to the most likely final gameplay trailer in Dogfighter.

Hey folks.
Sean from Dark Water here.I’m just going to throw you some titbits about the improvements you’ll see in the final product.
1. Levels are getting an overhaul due to the introduction of new tech.
2. There’s a whole new shiney GUI being placed at the moment.
3. Visible craft damage is being added (hopefully being blended in over time/damage)
5. Impact effects are being added per surface and per projectile
6. A little work on the explosions
7. Testing testing testing…Hope you guys like the vid and sorry for being so flippin quiet.
All the best. -

Hello Loki & Noxy,
Glad to hear it’s still on track. Looks fun so looking forward to giving it a go. Any hint as to what the new level tech is? Has the target platform plan changed? PC only last time if I remember. -

It’s pretty much PC only at the moment but XBLA is always a possibility.
As for the new tech, we had problems blending the terrain materials. This left ugly seams and other artifacts. It’s been sorted and we’re fixing these issues as I type.
Alot of balls in the air at the moment so I’m sorry that I can’t be more specific.

I remember seeing this game a good while back. I really like the tunnel interior flying sections. They seem mental. Some interesting environment and plane designs in there too.

Am looking forward to seeing this – games made in Ireland that are released into the wild are very few and far between, so this could signal a great start to 2010.

great to see this is nearing completion, grest stuff.
Some niggly observations
i think the envirnoments look a lttle rough graphically and tech wise. Also the underground levels seem really dark in places and this can be really annoying\confusing when your trying to fly around really quickly in 360 degrees.
oh and one last thing, displaying the "dogfighter" logo (which is mostly back) on a black background can be a little confusing too.
good luck with the game and fingers crossed :)
