Excellent. Well done, Aphra! I’m curious about the ‘A Strategy Guide for Understanding Grand Theft Auto’ book. You didn’t mention you’re writing a chapter for that!

Nice one Aphra!
It’s great to see you getting well deserved recognition like this, especially after all the resources you put into projects like starting gd.ie.

Ya Alex is married to one of the guys who was a designer on Colin Mcrae series. So alot of the lads know her here. She does seem to be a games icon these days. Good show it was though when it was on 4later

Thanks everyone. In the middle of first week back at school madness here at NUIM but this did make me take a few mins out to see who I am meant to be keeping company with! Did make me smile, some pretty powerful and successful women in there.
Ronny, the GTA book is meant to be out in the US late this year or early next so I will let you know.
Omen – let me konw if there are any more voice over jobs to be done by women – used to love doing those in college!
Aphra.

I too am curious about the GTA book – what’s the slant? Can you say?
-
20/09/2006 at 7:07 pm #33652Aphra KKeymaster
There is no slant per se, at least not a negative one – it is a Popular culture collection of essays. My piece is about the different reactions to GTA VC and the Hot Coffee story in the US, Europe and Australia and the subsequent regulatory responses.
Aphra.
